    Hi all,
I live in a new apartment building with one (bad) supplier of satellite. My question is if anyone knows of a shared satellite system the residents association could purchase and install which we could use instead?
Maybe some companies around who would be recommended?
    Cheers,
    M

Interested to hear the feedback on this one - I've moved into a new build recently too which has 1 option for TV / Phone lines as far as I can tell ... which means the company have a monopoly on the services and leaves the residents with little or no choice :-(

You may need to check who has ownership of the cable before you go ahead.

Cable from risers to apartment is belonging to owners. Cable drops will have to be redone but this is no big deal. There are 4 simple drops in the building leading to the roof (just need to get access from riser to roof as currently there are no holes for access would you believe!!!).
Already had many discussions with Danninger the builders and they have now got no objection to other companies coming into the building, just waiting on NTL to return my calls still...
