    hey guys,

i'm having trouble installing broadband. when i put in the eircom cd, it says to enter the admin password to run setup.exe. however i do not know it and the person that owns the laptop can't get it at the moment.
is there anyway around this, so i can bypass the password.
i tried turning off the user accounts but for this, again i need the admin password.

the os is Vista Home basic.

    can somebody help, please?

    Did you try nothing?

In XP, it is the same as the person who installed its password.

MJM: Please do not give out information on how to crack admin passwords. Lord knows all sorts of muppets will use it to do damage in corporate environments.
