    can anyone recommend a good place to buy(retail or online)? what are the best models etc....looking to spend around 500 euro....cheers

    500 is very limited. Dell is your man.

    Edit: This one seems god for the price of €549.

    Specs: AMD 3600+, 1GB RAM, 17", 250GB, 6150LE

    If you're only spending 500 euro, you might want to think of buying one second hand, you'll probably get a bit more value.

    Thanks for the reply.....was thinking of dell alright and the link for dell sounds good for that price. Are Dell the best PC around....has anyone had any problems with there's etc?
