dtt scrambled

    why are most ofthe channels scrambled that sucks
    when i put my freeview box on standbye tune in new channels i find nick,channel 6 and satanta sport the sound doesnt work and the picture is all fuzzy is there something that could fix it

    Those channels are encrypted - you can't get them without a trial box and card. Which you can't get unless you were chosen.

    Leakage from cable?? That's a complete guess. Funny how you're picking it up though...

    Also, full stops would make it easier to read but I think I understand you correctly when I say that you are picking up analogue Channel 6/Nick/Setanta Sports??

    I didn't think digital pictures could be fuzzy. Btw you need a TV aerial to look at the Irish DTT channels. Possibly an indoor one would be enough in Leixlip. No hope of getting Freeview. Even with a large mast, you would only get 2 miltiplexes I think, and the worst ones IMO.
