    Hi,

I'm doing some platering and some of it is on a corner. I'm putting in the corner wire mesh, but reading up on this and they say you should put primer on any cut edges of the mesh? is this necessary? also, was looking for primer for galvanised steel but couldn't find any in woodies. Is there anywhere that I could get this?

    thanks,
    J

OTT in my opinion: maybe for outside work in v damp conditions
You are not looking for primer for Galved steel as when u cut the mesh the exposed piece is not galvanised so ordinary primer will do fine.
    HTH.
