can i run ntl digital through this card and if so how so? the pvr 150 appears to have a built in ir blaster. do i use a scart to s video adapter to achieve this?

scart does not neccesarily have svideo on it, so an adapter is no godd unless your scart output has svideo enabled. IF it is rgb you are out of look unless you buy a powered scart to svideo converter.

How do you tell if you scart output is S-Video enabled, how much is a powered scart to s-video converter?

only way would be to read the manual? it's unlikely it is, more likely to be rgb.

powered scart to svideo will run you 70+ at last prices i saw
