    No. Probably never, actually - DAB uses VHF and we have allocations for VHF DTT too. And then theres the slight issue that FM Radio is VHF too...

    Not much point at this stage. Might be worth doing so at anolouge switchoff though to free up Band 3 for DAB

    They shouldn't have even started DAB.

    maybe some other Digital mode... DRM, DVB-h

    They did stop on Band 1
    They talked about stopping on Band3. But need a lot more UHF relays. People in VHF areas in West not amused with poor TG4 UHF (not enough relays) and in some cases TV3 won't pay for carriage so they have only 80%

    If they did have a proper plan to close VHF Band 3 TV this time, maybe UHF would get properly engineered with 99% 4 channel coverage.

    They need the relay coverage ANYWAY for DTT.
