    Whoa!

One of the best DT episodes so far IMHO. I'm really looking forward to next week.

If they were all as good as this, I'd be a very happy person..

Agreed. It's a pity DT's normal Doctor isn't more like "John Smith" all the time.

    Very good episode.

Yay it's meant to be good! Haven't seen it yet but have been waiting for this one ever since I saw the title. Looks like Cornell has done his book proud :)

Hmm, not sure it was as strong as last weeks. Still not bad though.

Brilliant! Slightly better than last weeks I thought, or at least as good as.

Acting was really top-notch. Was that Harry Enfield as the school principal? And I really did much prefer John Smith to David Tennant's usual Doctor character. Proving what I knew all along -- Tennant's capable of more.

Probably the best Doctor Who of the last few years.

Fantastic! I pretty much expected it to be but great to see it realised ("Human Nature", the book, is generally regarded and voted as one of the best ever original Doctor Who novels).

So much emotion in this one. I was a bit worried that DT wouldn't have the acting skillz to pull this off - glad to be proved wrong. He was excellent as John Smith and I really felt for him as he sacrificed himself for the greater good. Some superb heartfelt moments with the matron - great acting. An episode hasn't upset me this much since "Father's Day" (no coincidence that).

Paul Cornell was always excellent at capturing the human spirit and the enigma of the Doctor. This is proof. Here we got a romance that was more raw and feeling than any of RTD's Rose nonsense.

I could use superlatives ad nauseum but easily one of the best stories the show's ever produced. Top marks.
