    Hi Folks -

I collected PC Format magazine for years from May 1993 to Dec 1998. When PCF started introducing CDs from the May 1994 issue - it was an golden time for Net-less PC users. I never got my hands on the CD versions (PCF CD 1,2 and 3) - as they sold out and ended up with the regular HD Floppy version! :( By August 1994 I mentioned to get the CD version - and loved the stacks of avi clips, midis and mods that came on them.

Has any Boarders got them? Not much good now though - but I'd love to know what's on them? That is May-July 1994 PCF editions.

Heh Heh! :D Long story here. First it was Zzap issues from '87 to mid '90. Then it was Amiga Format from issue 16 until May '93 - I was going up to upgrade from an A500 to an A1200 but switched to a DX2-66Mhz at the last moment - hence PC Format.

But really - if anyone has any of those first 3 issues with the CD Rom issue - let me know! :o

Btw, Amiga Format was great! Remember Vistapro 1 on the cover?? then the next month was a Cad program, then a music tracker - great when there wasn't much going around and access to Bulletin boards wasn't easy.

i think i got AF cd's around , not sure about PCF.

    i had an A600, (with a 68020 upgrade and 20meg hd);)

now i got a xps m1710 , how times change.

no doubt about it , the 80s and 90s were terrific care free days......

Ah the days of cover disks.... It's a shame to Amiga went to way it did and we had to lose such a great magazine. I'll always remember one christmas getting a special Cannon fodder festive level :)

That's true - the mags were great for seasonal stuff like that. I remember AF had one issue with xmas lemmings.
