Hi all,

I'm new to airsoft, and I'm looking for a good AEG to start me off
I found this on the rsov website

I need your expert opinions on it. Is JG a good brand? I'll be hopefully getting a few more mags with the order aswell so running out shouldn't be a problem

Nah don't get that one mate. It only fires @ 200 feet per second. You'd wanna get somethin more powerful than that

Hows about this one, it's from a UK supplier that a friend of mine bought from last month. Seems to have decent power 340fps (I know this drops after a while), so it should be about 1J. It's a JG aswell.

What's the build quality like? I have a budget of around 200eur and would prefer to buy from the UK (I know rsov is a Chinese site), so I'm squeezing my budget.

[EDIT] I think they are actually the same. Not sure though

how do you mean it only fires at 200 fps? i have one and its well over that 310-330 easy.

that is the exact same one as from Rsov, and i and many others would recommend buying from him. (ROSV that is)

if that mp5 is the same as the one's paul uses in hrta (which im pretty sure they are) they fire at around 320-330fps

i'd say go for it, rsov is a good shop, the JG clones are very good, and the mp5 is a nice aeg, if i didnt have an mp5 already id probably buy that one

Was there when HRTA opened and I am almost 100% sure they are the ones he uses, which are quite good.

JG seem to be one of the better clone companys and their G36C is also recomended.

Thanks for that guys. Am looking for a decent starter that I can use for a few skirmishes etc

I was looking up JG and they seem from the reviews to be good quality but thanks for the confirmation.

I'm not too worried about the UK price, plus I don't want to be hit with Customs charges, and I have money to burn...:D, but not enough to get a proper TM
