Extremely hard to find, they sometimes come as money off vouchers or free shipping. I haven't spotted any for years though. There are some for purchasing items for shops that are affiliated with Paypal from time to time but they aren't much use.

I got sent one by paypal about a month ago that gave 10% off total purchase price but it only works up to £200stg. (I had contacted them about a complaint I had over their transaction exchange rates and they sent this to me).
Used it already by maybe contacting them might be a good place to start !

yeah same thing happened me last week when i was buying a starview box off ebay, was using a 3v voucher as well but luckily I'd put enough money in. Actually, what was that alternative to 3v that was posted here a while ago? some kind of master card thing or something

tells you how greedy paypal/ebay are, why bother giving coupons when we'll make more money not giving them out. Hopefully google checkout becomes bigger so that paypal dont make as much money. There currency rates are always a ripoff, when you buy an item from uk or whereever, ebay gave you the price in euros and then when you go to pay its always higher.

Yea i just set up an account with them there the other day, it's very quick and easy and you can start using it as soon as you set it up if you transfer money to your account via credit card.

Dre, no point giving you the letter as I referenced my transaction ID's etc and the historic exchange rates from XE and VISA for the day the transaction occured (Paypals rate was 10% higher than XE and 7% higher than Visa so I asked why I couldn't buy in sterling and let visa convert at their rate)

No problem.I was just asking.I purchased the item already so will just try and find another code for the next time i buy anything. I think you can buy in sterling.I read it somewhere that there is an option available
