    Right so shops in Liffey where I'll be buying it tomorrow are Dixons, Pc World, Argos, Virgin (probably just iPod's here which I don't want).

    No Sony, Apple or any other media player that comes with its own software that I have to use to transfer songs. I'd prefer a player with mass storage support.

    I've been looking at Sandisk E800 (I think it is, 8GB one with FM radio) but I don't think its available in Liffey and I don't have a credit card online.

    I'm going to be using it in Linux so it has to work in Linux. I'd like 6-8GB Flash storage with decent battery life being a must. I'd like to have FM radio aswell.

    Anyone got any good ideas on what player might suit me that I could get? I'm entirely against HDD players, I was looking at the Archo's 404 (I think it is, 30GB one posted recently here) so any really good players like that, I'd consider too.
