Ok havent used the used the wii so much and since the last time ive used it ive got my self a component cable,

So downloaded Super Mario 2 today but what ever screen mode i set the wii to i keep getting component mode not supported on my TV.

If i switch back to the original cable it works fine.

Well, that does mention there is a fix, but thats not availabl for all games. None of the megadrive ones and Supermario world also doesn't work. But I suppose that means there isn't a fix for them?

My mistake, Sonic the Hedgehog seems to work now. Ecco the dolphin doesn't.

    [edit]
Never mind. Sonic seemed to work perfectly until the wii menu is brought up. That means if you start without a suspended play, it will work until you bring up the menu but if you have a previous suspended play it wont work cause it always brings up the menu. I wish there was a fix ;)

the fix on the wiki says to try pressing z + a + 1 in the operations guide which is a bit tricky to do if you cant see the screen lol

Yup, the fix is great on the games it works for. I just wanted a nice game of sonic. Guess i'll just need to delete its suspended play eveytime i want a go.

(BTW, The wii menus display just fine. Its everything else that gets messed up)
