I'm thinking of buying the new Garmin Nuvi 250 (European Mapping).

Has anybody tried this in Ireland?

Is the mapping up to scratch here?

What version of Navteq maps is on it.

    Thanks

Hi ttc, have the 250 since end last week and happy enough with it. Has v9 maps on it. Paid E299 so seems like good value compared to some EU units, I think Garmin is prob the best out there.

    Hi

Bought one last week, very happy with it. Live in Kildare and was tested over the weekend to Ashford castle in Mayo..no probs at all along the route. going to mainland europe in September so that will be the big test.

    so go for it.

    Navteq v9 maps (latest)
