On one of my rare excusions online.

FT in a Tournament last night. (online) (fking 100s of entrants)

I'm on SB with KK - 7 left. (im 3rd in stack sizes)

    BB is small stack -
    Button covers me -
UTG - Small stack goes all in -
UTG + 1 - goes all in (small stack)
    Button calls both. (doesn't reraise?)

    Stack sizes

    Me - 65K
    Button -95K
    UTG - 15K
    UTG+1 32K

    ME?

    What would YOU do here?
    THOUGHTS!
I'm thinking button does not have AA so I'm contemplating an ALL-IN. I'm guessing UTG+1 is strong, as he is the tightest. 1-3 is the real money and I'm already in 3rd, however I want 1st.

    What are the blinds at?

Instashove. Button will have to call with those odds, and if you lose to UTG+1 and win the sidepot from button you still have 66k

SPOILER if you want the result
I raised ALL-IN. Button called. With AQ. (????) He hit a straight, knocking 3 of us out. UTG=1 had AA

    BLINDS were at 2-4k

What range of hands do you have for BT to call off 1/3 of his stack? Some chip leaders will call off that much with a really wide range of hands if the blinds are low knowing that they still have lots of chips if they don't get lucky and if they get lucky and win they are way way ahead of everyone.

edit: Just seen the result. Always sick when you are that far ahead the luck of the chip leader for sure!!!!

Insta-push after a little hollywooding (i.e. think for like 5 seconds then push)

I knew Button HAD to call if I pushed so I knew pretty much I was only losing to AA or a bad beat....but if I know UTG+1 has AA. How good of a call is it?

I was calculating I'd just end up where I was in the 1st place with the all in as I was sure UTG=1 was very strong. so I'm not sure it was so obvious a call.

However I just can't possibly find a fold here. Can anyone?

UTG+1 was playing so solid and had got several bad beats , I think he deserved a break...I got even breaks mostly thorugh the tourny. (best I can hpe for)

If you knew you were putting half your stack up against AA then folding has to be easy enough. He'd need to be jumping up in his chair to know for sure though. If you fold you can probably guarentee yourself some chips from the BT who seems a bit loose and therefore all but assure yourself that top 3 finish and a shot at 1st.

this is the easiest push ever

You can never ever ever fold KK for 8 BB's (UTG+1's stack)

I know and I didn't , it was the fact that I had to put all my chips in due to button interference, that was the real crux of this. UTG+1 was always getting a call. It's probaly not that interesting a hand as the title suggests but I was flying in this and was convinced I'd take it down. The new chip leader ended up 3rd..(how he ever got these I'll never know). I think I'll play the stars warm up (my debut on pokerstar Sunday event) I just hope my wire get's there in time.

I suppose we can let this thread die now as it is an obvious call, thx for the opinions anyway.

No problem, but you also really want the button to call to, that way if the UTG+1 guy actually has AA you can still more than likely double the remainder of your stack off him anyway and so you will usually be right back where you started, unless something really horrible happens and the button gets lucky, but it's a really nice spot to be in.

This is one of the few cases where I fold my pocket kings.

i may consider a fold here. Depending on whether you believe you can beat the table and how many are left and prize jumps etc.

Right now you can fold and more likely than not there will be one if not two jumps in the prize scale for you. Along with having a full round of the table ahead of you. KK in a 4 way all in. I just dont like it.

There was me thinking I was the only one who would consider it! Phew!

Ah come on lads, how could you consider folding here? Talking about outplaying anyone with 13BBs is crazy. And when you're talking about prize pool jumps, a lot of the time you'll be moving up the ladder by knocking out two players here, and getting your stack into a position to win the thing.

A candidate for the BB sticky, but safe to say it's run its course at this stage.
