PC Slow

ugh! my pc is having a very slow day! the two times I started it up it took a good 10 mins, normally all it takes is 2. I have also seen when I am using FF it freezes every few seconds for about 3 secs, and that is very annoying. I can't think of that I might have done to it to make it so sluggish. I noticed it started to slow down after I upgraded the Zone Alarm suite, but that could hardly be the the problem, could it?

Easy to find out , disable Zone alarm and see if it picks up !

make sure that you aren't running windows firewall at the same timeas zonealarm too.

Could be due to ZoneAlarm. Try disable some start up entries that you don't need.

See if any processes in Task Manager are eating up the CPU

Or better than Task Manager is Process Explorer:
