standard tag 24/14/1.89 hasn't got out of line.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Button ($126.85)
    SB ($25.03)
    BB ($144.55)
    UTG ($97)
    Hero ($278.65)
    CO ($76.80)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 4spade.gif, Aspade.gif.
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, Button calls $4, 2 folds.

    Flop: ($9.50) Adiamond.gif, Tspade.gif, 9spade.gif(2 players)
Hero bets $7, Button raises to $21, Hero calls $14.

any merit in 3betting the flop or is this ok? what's the plan for the turn? c/f non spade?

26/8/1 weakish player, calls a lot with weak hands oop, fairly passive.

    BB ($108.30)
    Hero ($130.80)
    MP ($157.49)
    Button ($23.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Aheart.gif, 5heart.gif.
Hero raises to $4, 3 folds, BB calls $3.

    Flop: ($8.50) 4spade.gif, 2heart.gif, 5diamond.gif(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7, BB calls $7.

    Turn: ($22.50) Aspade.gif(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $15, BB calls $15.

    River: ($52.50) 6spade.gif(2 players)
    BB checks, Hero bets $25

    standardo?

hand 1: looks fine.we obviously have no fold equity vs set/2 pair hands.vs this player on the turn i probably c/fold to any reasonable bet.

    hand 2: i like.

Hand 1. I'd often re-raise him on the flop and put him to the ultimate test on the turn whatever card fell if I was due a blow up. If i felt I had good fold equity I would definetly play it like this. Is he chancing his arm at all on the button?

Hand2 2. What more can you do..? I might throw out 35 on the river as thats what I'd probably throw out as a bluff too

#1: Why not re-raise to 75 and call all-in. You are 44% against AK and might get AQ/AJ to fold. Calling is fine but you will have to fold the turn a lot.

#2: Seems ok, just trying to think what he could have! You should definitely value bet the river though and fold to a push.

id much rather this if we had AKs/AQs/AJs.

me too:) but I like gambling and getting people to fold the best hand! It's also good for nits like me to do this every so often as we normally have AK/set here.

Hand 1 top pair with nut flush draw I just try and get it in on the flop against anyone, just to keep things interesting. Edit: esp if he was a regular

    Hand 2 is fine.

Hand 1 : 3-bet is fine there, if he will raise draws, because you might end up getting it in as a big favourite Vs a worse draw (like QsJs for example). Sure you run into sets sometimes, but you also run into worse draws, who have good equity vs your range. And you might get AJ/AQ/AK to fold, and thats good.
I am much more likely to call when I am in position, than out.

    Hand 2: is good

    Hand 1:
I prefer a call on the flop with just the 4 but raising is good to build up the pot as your action will likely slow if another spade hits.

    Hand 2:
I think you can get a $35-$40 bet in on the river.

    1) OOP + draws + high card flop (ie sets are likely 3betting hands pf) = 3bet

    2) check riv

why? I don't think he plays a hand that beats me here like that, and i might squeeze a bet out of 77+ or two pair hands he has like 45/56 or w/e. I used to check here, but i think it's leaving money on the table.

Backdoor flush and straight draw hit obv. Whatever about 77 calling the turn, I think 77 folds the river.
