I live in a rural location and have recently been going on walks and jogs (mostly walks..jog breakdowns) but bugs are really starting to well...bug me!!

They fly into my hair and ear and everywhere ..but i can deal with that, but my eyes..well I can't see where i'm going when one is scratching across my left eyeball!

Is there such a thing as mountain running glasses?, if so, does anyone have recommendations?

You could just buy a pair of cheap sunglasses - that might do the trick. My biggest hate is bugs flying into my mouth when i'm running.

Go to ebay.ie and do a search for "safety glasses"...

You'll get lots of buy it now results, great prices and so on, for sports glasses too. I wear a pair when biking and playing squash....

Bollé are a great brand, as are Uvex.

    Sorted.

You don't have to go to ebay for everything. There are loads of safety shops in Ireland. Go to one of them and try before you buy!

Any of the cycling shops should be able to kit you out with a pair at a reasonable price. They'll look quite funky too I'd imagine.

    Get a full-face motorcycle helmet.

    Or sunglasses.
