Just a Simple Portrait?

    Artist Dru Blair presented a photo portrait to his class and instructed them to reproduce the photo in painting as best they could. After the class had ended, he decided to test the limits of his painting skills and took it upon himself to recreate the photo, with pretty startling results.

    If anyone read the Metro this morning, they had the same article. They showed how in did it in layers, and did certain bits at a time, albeit taking him 7+ hours to do it...

    i have much dought about this being a painting... to think someone can get every strand of hair and ever pore with a air brush seems to be a bit much for me.. but hey i could be wrong... lets wait and see

    Did he digitally paint it or go the old fashioned route?
