IM looking for a helicoptor fuselage with the rotors and all other parts complete. Condition does not matter as long as its not a total wreck. Obviously Im not looking for one which can still fly. Ive checked eBay and a few online sites so Id love to hear from anybody that could help ;-)

Maybe if you got in touch with Celtic Helicopters or the like...

They may be able to point you in the right direction as they would have sold on older helicopters and would know more about what yoiu need and where to get it.

Cathal did you have any particular helicopter in mind?

I'd say contact a company that does maintenance and see if they would be able to give you parts that there throwing out. Companies in the USA would probably be your best bet.

Ive seen Aircraft shells in EIAB ( Abbeyshrule ) dont know about Helicopters though! The Air Corps are getting rid of their Alouettes.......Would make a lovely Piece! And a huge tribute to our boys for all their tireless work at home and abroad!

Does it have to be recognisable model e.g a Bell 206 Jetranger or MD 500 or US/Western European ?

    Would a Russian/Soviet model do?
If so then Eastern Europe is your only man but be careful you could end up buying the real deal and it would be bit more costly.

I am not allowed discuss …

your best bet is to contact some of the helicopter training schools and ask if they have anything old for sale.I could be wrong here but i believe there arent any helicopter maintance places in Ireland as the only places ive ever heard people taking about maintance are in the UK. It depends on how much you have to spend and what you are looking for really. You could pick up an old R22 for less than 100k no prob.
