What do ye think? Is it constant or multiple?

Like, now that the bomb is gone, is the future in Five Years Gone different or the same???

theres usually 2 things that happen: If its constant, its one line, so if ye change somethin at any point in time, you change its future

or, the change will cause time to branch out, resulting in multiple plains of time

I'm guessin its constant as Hiro was lookin for the one moment that would change time for the better [Peter savin Claire]

Although he spoke of a rift, what could this be?

    Anyhoo, post your theories

[Grrr, there was sposta be a poll there, if a mod could add it thatd be dandy!]

actually thats a VERY interesting point to raise...

    Peter is still alive
Nathan is more than likely dead...
Sylar.. its edgy really, He may or may not be alive.
    Parkman is dead

So.. the things i see wrong with it are: 1) the place never blew up.. therefore Nathan would never end up in the white house for his strength/actions
    2) Peter is alive and if nathan died in the explosion.. then how could he be president? Surely he would know something is wrong
    3) Isnt parkman some kind of agent or something for "nathan" in the future? cant remember atm..

So going by the above.. i'd say its constant too

Parkman is not dead. He just was taken away in an ambulance.

The whole timetravel thing is just crazy when you try to work things like this out. When Hiro first traveled to the future everything should have been great. No bomb etc etc etc cause the bomb would already have been stoped cause its in the past.

Well if parkmen is still alive then yes he could become one of the leaders of the company like in the 5 year future, also syler could easily kill you one with the mimic power and take it then he could pretend to be nathan and threaten to go nucular if peter or anyone tries to stop him so he could still try to be nathan

Yeah, but in the future, Sylar had killed Nathan at some point, as he could fly, proper, like Nathan

I agree, its crazy tryin to figure it out, like in Termanator, the way John sends his Da back, to ride his ma, and impregnate her with John, its Mad

If the timeline is constant, then the future we saw is comp diff now

If not, each moment in time would be on its own plane

So on Friday, Hiro could go back to Thursday, and the bring thursday Peter [or anyone] back to Wednesday, then bring Thurs and Wed Peter back to Tuesday, and so on

then, come back to Hiro's present day with like 50 Peters!

    Back to the future [:p]...

    Everthing should change, because:
    -Ando isnt dead
    -DL and Micah are alive
-Theres no Nathan for Sylar to kill and steal his power of flight from

I think in the long run it'll end up like a series of 24, as in by the end of the series the plot focus is completely different

Like we'll prob look back by the time season 3 gets here and think nothin of Sylar
