Sorry, I know there are a lot of threads about Austalia. But I have one specific question I can't find the answer to.

I recenly got approved for a working holiday visa. Hope to be arriving in Sydney in February but am starting my trip in a few weeks so have to get organised now.
A company called VisaFirst organised my visa for me. And now they're saying I have to open a bank account using a company called 'Travel to Work'. I then have to deposit AU$5000 in that account.
Is this normal? Is there no way I can prove I have the money in an Irish account, then open an Australian account when I get there? I don't like handing over that amount of money just before I start!
    Thanks.

I'm locking this thread temporarily, as previous Visa First threads have caused issues. As soon as I hear back from an Admin as to what they want to with this, I'll re-open or post to say it's closed permanently.
