Im as giddy as a schoolgirl on Red Bull, just hours to go to - for me - probably the most anticapated episode of a TV show ever.

Also: What other TV show finales have been up there with this one expectations wise?

yeah same here.. looking forward to it very much and i hope its a belter as we wont have any lost action till january. i would hope for more on the desmond/penny storyline especially more in reference to her searching for des that was touched on at the end of last season and the intro of naomi.

I think I read somewhere that JJ Abrams said (before it was broadcast) that the season 2 finale was one of the best he's ever seen. While I thought it was an amazing episode and I was looking forward to it a lot, I'm looking forward to this one even more. There's no hatch that's gonna blow up, no walt to be rescued, just the others are coming and I have no clue whats gonna happen. I can't wait!

Heroes, and that was a HUGE disappointment imo. So people should keep their expectations in check. This is not the series finale just the 3rd season one. And no doubt the filler-brigade and answer-counters and the jack-haters and the blow-ins-who-hate-the-show-but-watch-it-anyway will be moaning as usual tomorrow.

Anyway now that I got that out of the way...

THE FINALE IS SO GOING TO ROCK!!

I cant wait too , ive been following it not on television all series mostly but i am going to force myself to wait till Sunday night to enjoy it on the box , i just hope i can hold out !especially seeing as i took a few days off and i have broadband at home!

I usually watch the episode first thing on a Thursday morning, but unfortunately I have an exam from 9-11. By the time I get home and whatnot, it'll probably be about 3 before I get to see the whole thing ! I don't like waiting.

This is gonna be mega. I suppose there's three things that'll be going on; will Charlie be able to turn off the communication block somehow, what'll happen when the others land over and what's gonna happen to the ones going to the radio tower. If it's as good as last year's, but with a better ending, it has the makings of the best episode yet. Even if it is Jack's flashbacks.

EDIT: ****. I looked at the first line of yer man insiderscoop's synopsis on the final and now know one of the spoilers. Usually he just starts off by saying "wow, this is great" or "this is ****" or something along those lines, but the bastard decided to jump straight into spoilers this week. Prick.

I'm pretty excited about this. I was super excited, but I got side-tracked by the Heroes finale, and now I've barely been thinking about Lost. Still, I'll probably wake up really early in the morning, like a child on Christmas morning, ready to watch it!

Yeah the anticipation is really building. I'm in the middle of doing all-nighter's for exams and stuff, so I'm hoping to squeeze it in between now and the morning some time. Should be great.

I'm so impatient too can't wait. Really curious about the underwater station and the inhabitants. how do they survive if the submsarine was blown up by LOcke in a prior episode? Can't believe its a double episode! $ days to go. So many questions and no answers!

Looks like im gonna have to wait until Sunday to watch:( I usually watch on lunch in work on a thursday in one of the meeting rooms with a few others but seeing as this one is 2 hours long we wont have time. I would say we would just watch half today but I know there is no way I could cope with that. Too busy to watch tonight, Friday, Saturday so will have to watch it in lovely HD on Sky.
