power adapter for powerbook G4

Hey all, sorry if this is the wrong forum but I've only ever posted in the comics forum before and sorry also if this is a very long winded post for a pretty simple question.

I have a nearly 2 year old powerbook G4 which i got in one of the apple stores in new york [i was living there at the time] I'm sure most have heard the stories of how crap the apple power adapters are but i hadn't at the time and my first one went in about 4 months.........not to big an issue just walked a couple of blocks to the apple store....yell at morons and get it replaced.

However I've now moved back to ireland [kilkenny] and my latest power adapter [no 3] has been on its last legs for a couple of weeks now. I tired ording a new one via the apple ireland store.........my friend recently got a new mac here and the point were the power cord connects to the mac is square but my one is round, I tired to double check with the apple store guy on the phone to make sure the adapter would work with mine but he was so rude to me that I got pissed off and hung up.

Anyway I need to replace the adapter ASAP and i don't care if its an apple adapter or a third party one, i just need it to work as I need to use my laptop for work. Amazon.co.uk wouldn't ship me one as they said they couldn't ship electronics outside the uk.

Does anyone know if the power adapters sold via the apple ireland store will work with my powerbook so i don't have to ring and deal with idoits again? or know anywhere that will ship one overnight/quick as possible to kilkenny?

Not much of a response on the laptop forum, so I'll move it over to the Mac forum.

Hopefully somebody here can help you.
