Is there a difference in the EOS Rebel cameras from the 'NON' ones.
As in, what's the difference with the 400d and the Rebel 400d, if any?
    Cheers!

The Canon 400D is called the Digital Rebel XTi in North America and as EOS Kiss Digital X in Japan. (Similarly the Canon 350D was called the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT in North America and as Canon EOS Kiss n Digital in Japan.) The camera bodies are the same but are renamed for what I assume are marketing purposes.

I've had a Digital Rebel XTI and a 400d, and the only difference I could tell between the two was the different badge on the camera, and the EXIF data produced by the camera. In one case the badge and EXIF say Digital Rebel XTI, in the other they say 400d. Aside from that, they are identical.

Yeah... I picked up the EOS Digital Kiss X while I was over in Japan a few weeks ago. (€685 with 18-55mm & 55-200mm lens.. Nice...) Its the exact same camera as the EOS 400d here in Europe/Digital Rebel XTi in US...
