    Apart from being at the various count centers, does anyone know where a good source for the tallys on Friday morning?

    Probably not quite what you mean but Morning Ireland will have a result of the exit poll done by RTE tomorrow morning.
    Apparently it was very accurate last year for showing where the No 1 votes went.

    Politics.ie looks like a good place to get info tomorrow. They're offering free text updates all day/weekend (via Twitter). Handy for the likes of me who can't have a radio on in work or spend all morning surfing teh intertron.

    The Pat Kenny show is dealing with tallies I think in the morning.

    Just curious as to why they do not start the count straight away when voting ends, why do they wait until the next day.
