46" Samsung LCD - 768 or 1080?

I'm going to buy a Samsung 46" LCD but not sure whether to get HD ready or Full HD. Hd ready is good bit cheaper but don't want to have to upgrade in a year or two. Is there much difference in quality. I have an xbox 360 too so might be worth full hd for that?

My understanding is that for a tv of that size it'd be worth paying extra for full hd. The difference isn't as noticable on smaller sized tv like a 32"

Xbox 360 supports 1080p so you'd definitely get use out of it.

If you're going to be using it for gaming definitely get the 1080p. You'll also be future proofing your TV
