    I have heard on the Grapevine that there is to be a re-introduction in Wicklow. Has anyone here got any further info?

    Yes, I saw quite a few of them a couple of years ago when I walked the Offa's Dyke long distance footpath which runs roughly along the English-Welsh border. Very impressive birds.
