Yes the NTL e mail accounts are changing on the 4th of june? Id say UPC Ireland is coming ina few days? Most likely and hopefully for the channels! Anything was better than the old chorus pack it was a rip off

The channels Magnet carries bear no relationship to channels carried by any other IPTV, cable or satellite operator.

I beleive Magnet have never carried some Sky channels that NTL does carry.

Bubble music set to burst onto Irish screens

A music channel set up by a young Irish businessman will soon air on all Irish digital platforms including UPC Ireland, Smart Vision and Magnet.

Cork man James Hyland set up the station Bubble Hits which targets the 16-34 year-old market.

The station, which was set up last August, is already available to more than eight million homes in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The channel beams into nearly 800,000 homes in Ireland.

Since January 2007, Bubble Hits has steadily grown its average monthly reach by 35%.

The channel has non-stop music and shows such as Glenda Gilson’s own daily show 'Glenda’s Showbiz Gossip'.

James Hyland said: “Bubble Hits has been getting such a great reaction from everyone who has been watching it on Sky. We’re so proud of the station and it’s just awesome that more Irish people will be able to watch Ireland’s only dedicated music channel on these new platforms.”

Vern Kennedy, CEO of Magnet Networks said: “Magnet is delighted to have secured Bubble Hits. Our customers will be able to enjoy Bubble’s up-beat, modern music mix from June 1, when they will have access to a host of new channels on the platform

I'd imagine that Bubble Hits would be lucky if 50 people in Ireland are watching it in Ireland at any one time.

Will be on EPG number 711 on ntl from the middle of this month. Hope this does not lead to the removal of an of the existing music channels.

Glenda Gilson’s own daily show 'Glenda’s Showbiz Gossip'.

    I don't think I'll be joining the viewing figures.

I was wondering where it (Bubble Hits) and the other channels that this Vern Kennedy mentioned are as its now 3rd of June and Magnet desparately need to up their channel selection.

They lie! It used to be that bubble hits never (ever) showed ads (ever) so it was always good for something when every other channel took their ad break at same time (quarter past, half past, quarter to, and on the hour)

But for the last few months it appears that Bubblehits have reneged on their word and started to show ads... Sell outs...

Oh, also the music sucks balls...

A music channel is showing ads, big deal. Would you rather they closed down? Sell outs? That's laughable.

And if the music sucks balls then why would you care what they show?

And oh how I'd wish they'd bring back Flaunt to 720......

The SBP stated it would be June 12 before the channel was launched on NTL. Just noticed it now live on NTL dublin on 711 with Kiss on 717.

I've had it since at least yesterday on NTL digital. I never watch the music channels but noticed because we were getting digital installed in a new room and was checking to see if all channels were working.

For me, Glenda Gilson will act as more than enough of a deterrent.
