Serious question about NTL

    Has anyone ever got a call back from NTL's customer service department. Ive had a problem with my digital service for a few months now and everytime I ring them(about once a week) I get the same answer - you're a priority case, we'll ring you in the next few days etc. Just wondering has anyone ever actually been able to speak to the customer support and not just technical support?

    You’re not alone. Apparently, the existence of NTL customer service representatives is just a myth – and the whole thing is just a social experiment to see how long people will remain on hold for.

    Thanks for the reply. Its frustrating when they wheel out the same excuses each time. Basically some of my channels are gone(as in a black screen with no sound) for example Sky Sports 1 will be working but 2,3 and Xtra wont be working. It happens to random channels at random times. A technician came out and said there was low frequency levels and the box outside the house would have to be changed. That was about 5 months ago and thats the last I heard from them without me ringing them. Im seriously thinking about switching to sky but I have to wait until they fix it so I can reclaim the money im owed for the lack of service over the few months.
