    i'm not too sure of the price of them these days other than them being €269 in xtra vision. has anyone seen them cheaper around dublin or online?

    Get it on Ebay. The price in Ireland is absolutely scandalous.

    I just bought a brand new one (Black, 30GB, 5.5 generation Video) from a US department store, with charger (usually sold separately) for 230 dollars incl tax.

    Thats about 170 Euro.

    You'll get one from Ebay for about 150 Euro if you look around - make sure they ship to Ireland.

    Yeah was gonna suggest ebay as well. The iPod and Zune are both around €180 from the uk on eBay.

    Pixmania were doing it for €240 + delivery but it came with a 2 year warranty. Its gone up now to €253.

    I've been looking for a while and my issue with buying from ebay or USA is the
    warranty and customs issue. Anyone been caught for customs charges?

    PSI - what Seller did you buy it from for $230. Seems like a good price.
