    It’s that time of year again, exams are over and the clouds are clearing. To celebrate, Kettle in collaboration with IADT students union brings you a night to rival any other end of year bash. Its not only the students end of year session, it’s also Kettle’s. After a successful first year, Kettle is taking a hard-earned summer break from pushing the boundaries of what is typically referred to as a “student night”. Everyone who helped Kettle boil throughout the year are invited to bid a fond farewell to the night that brought you such memorable experiences as Dj Flip’s record release party, Skkatter and Tu-Ki tearing it up at Kettle’s launch party, Hystereo, and every aspect of the off the wall Christmas bash (if you were there, you know what I mean!).

    Kicking things off we have Kettle resident and hip hop supreme Fonetik, laying down some choice beats and perfect cuts. Fonetik has been highly in demand on the Dublin scene, most recently playing at Rock the Green. Taking the reigns from Fonetik will be three-time DMC finalist Deviant treating the Kettle faithful to a stunning performance with his new live show ‘Flying Buttresses’. Deviant has previously been hailed as Ireland’s most musical scratch DJ. This show first featured in the IADT Rag week and left audiences a gasp with the high energy beats together with unconventional melodies/sounds and the most talented MC Seby C. Deviant and Seb have been working tireless days and nights on this project, which we guarantee to pay off on stage.

    Dublin’s, T-Wok, is part of the Alphabet Set and hosts a weekly radio show on Dublin’s Raidio na Life (106.4FM) and is a regular selector with the Rootical Soundsystem. T-Wok can be heard on the Dublin airwaves every Saturday night from twelve pumping out good roots, dancehall, dub step, hip hop and electronix.

    Rounding things off we have the debut Irish performance of Signor Pepe Hernandez. From the streets of Guadalajara, Pepe brings a delightful journey filled with ghetto tech, electro and superbly engineered techno, no one will be left sitting!

    Completing the line-up on visual duty, we have eye candy creator Cool Hand Loop. Widely regarded as Dublin’s best VJ, he has done visuals for the likes of Vitalic, Dr. Lektroluv, Johannes Heil and Chris Liebing…to name but a few.

    Three euro bottles of Corona, Ireland’s best visual jockey and Dublin’s best up and coming Dj’s in all genres make Kettle the ultimate alternative student night. So kick your textbooks to the curb, embrace summer’s warmth, and join us in bringing Dublin’s best end of year student night to the boil.
