Confectionary that looks like tobacco products to be outlawed on the 31st on May

Everyone knows that the sale of packs of 10 cigarettes are being outlawed on the 31st of May.

Does anyone know that the sale of confectionery products resembling tobacco products are outlawed too!!

So does this apply to candy cigarettes.

Also, last time I looked, Twix bars look like cigars

Anybody ever remember those fake fags that used to be sold in some shops. They looked like a lit cigarette and if you blew into them a load of dusty smoke came out. Wild stuff.

How would you feel about plastic needles with syringes purporting to contain kiddy heroin? I don't know if it's particularly harmful, but kid's cigarettes... it's very bizarre.

Not sure, but Dip Dabs and Sherbert Fountains are being cut up and snorted by 5 to 8 year olds all over the Country... Sherbert Fountains even come with a liquorice snort tube ffs!!!

I sighted it in the Irish Times this morning.

It's an amendment to the tobacco act. But it specifically states bout the confectionery items being outlawed

Yeah I used to eat the paper from the chocolate ones. There were ones with The Hulk on the packet, just plain chalky ones. Hilarious, I would offer my brother (6 at the time) some of those chalky cigarettes, some of them were not far off similar to a box of cigs, when I would see people walk by and the tutting from the auld biddies.

I remember back in school going into the teen disco and there was these idiots snorting Dispiren tablets............yea, suppose one way to cure a headache. Just for the record they did crush them first, sure would be a bit painful snorting them whole!
