so im being offered 60% on prima by an affiliate on 2+2 which sounds good but its based on contributed rather than dealt. is this good or bad?
since its so high, is it compensating the lower rakeback that the contributed method generates to bring it in line with the 30% offered for the sites that use the dealt rakeback method? also, how affected am i by the fact im a tag player at 6max?

essentially, is 60% contributed much better than 30% dealt?

i'm not sure on the figures tbh but all I will say is that obviously contributed would suit a LAG much better then a TAG I would hav eno idea on how much this would affect your rakeback though.

Mightn't give you a definitive answer but should give you a better understanding of the different types of RB.

class link tribulus nd only realised at the end it was a boards poster..

the statement that contributed suits lag more is debateble.. they will play more hands but the rake will be split more but a tag who narrows the hand down to 2/3 preflop will gain a higher rake because its not split by as many.. make sense?

Dealt RB is better, but it's not very widely available anymore, nearly all the sites use a form of contributed RB now.

Be careful of using small RB providers, make sure he/she has solid 1k+ post 2+2 references. Also you should be aware that Prima has capped the amount of RB available at 30%, so be careful if someone is offering 60%. I'm not saying it's not available, but it seems very high and the old saying of if something is too good to be true, it usually is. I haven't been keeping as upto date as in the past about the current state of the RB market so unfortunately I can't give you a definitive answer, but it seems very high. I'd suggest you have a read of the 2+2 RB/affiliates forum. They know their sh1t in there.

Even though I love a good old chat about RB, because this thread mentions %'s I'm going to lock it. PM me if you want and I'll tell you if I've heard of the RB provider.
