Hi, goin nuts tryin to find this, without flagging myself for lecturers:

What is the story with failing a module on a Masters course. I'm doing the MSc. in CAD/CAM and it's not looking good on one of them. (operations Research: exam tomorrow)

Do I just repeat the exam in August? Or is my average just decimated? If I do fail can I still get the Masters or am I booted onto the GDip course, as this course is in several levels, build credits/move on etc.

    Thank you anybody!

I'm doing a masters in the business school, if you fail you can repeat in August, but the maximum mark you will get for that exam is 50% no matter how well you do in it

Cheers. I took the plunge this mornin and emailed my course director with a carefully worded version of the oirginal post.

It is as you say only for me it's a max of 55%! All irrelevant now as I've done the exam. Reckon it went okay. I in no way aced it but I think I should just about make it.

    Thanks again.
