Main stream party candidates, I couldnt believe it.
Ive taken a quick glance over this page http://CharlieFlanagan07.bebo.com and it doesnt strike me as a piss take.

If it is genuine, its just plain weird IMO, another hip politician down with todays youth.

What makes you think it's a piss take? All seems pretty dry and straightforward to me.

I'm in two minds about candidates using bebo pages, but on balance I think it's actually a good way to connect with first time voters, without forcing them to read dull policy statements or wade through tonnes of crap on the official party website. Still a bit cringey, but worth the effort.

Actually http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=3725995645 is his proper one :P. The piss-take one was made by a FF supporter... I think actually a staff member of a TD or something, i'm not entirely sure. I was reading about it in the newspaper but the details have left me... FG complained about it and said it was unfair but were ignored.
