FTV card - free to view card.

This basically configures your sky box to display the Uk epg and allows you to watch the free channels available in the Uk. It also allows you to receive 5 extra channels which would not be possible without the card: c4, c5, c5us, c5 life and Sky3.

The sky box will not pick up asian channels and will not pick up subscription channels unless u actually opay for them!

Sky box is only designed to receive channels from one satellite, the Astra satellite.

    Try posting in foreign satellie....

    Yes, you pay for them.

If you mean obtain pay channels without paying, then this thread will get locked and you my friend will most likely get a warning.

Criminal offence in EU to get Pay TV without paying.

There are some free asian channels. Actually only a few require a subscription (Zee, Star, Sony Asia?)

Basically the FTV card is a once off £21 approx, but is ONLY sent to a UK inc N.I. POST CODED address. It's not terribly useful. You can get the UK EPG without it and most of C4 is on pay package, and may be free next year.
