Now, who remember's this ol' Den classic? Strange ol' Australian show.

Have you ever.......ever felt like this, where strange things happen. Are you goin' round the twist. Like bloody yesterday. Can't really remeber any specific episodes though. Well except one where the young guy was having a pissing contest with his mates. He ended up pissing so high that he pissed over the wall and all over some girl (I think).

I'm at work and youtube is blocked. I won't be near a connection that isn't blocked until Friday week I might head to the internet cafe tomorrow evening after work though.

What a great show. All the episodes are available on most online dvd stores. I got the first season awhile back. It's good alright. Did anyone read the Paul Jennings books on which the show was based. Classic stuff. I think I have all the books.

Haha, that brings back memories. The first thing that came into my head was the image of seagulls ****ting on everyone lol. I also remember one episode where the youngest kid couldn't stop chewing fly swatters and another where their lighthouse was haunted by a ghost. Quality stuff it has to be said.

Yeah I remember the p*ssing one . Was there another one where the girl found this Fox with freaky buttons for eyes and it had to eat a load of lemons and then got its own eyes in the end only they were even weirder coz they were like the Fremen?

There was one I am remembering now about birds shieting all over the place. Also, wasn't there a property tycoon or business man type always trying to get rid of them from the lighthouse?

A lad whose hands were covered in nails....
Mad mushrooms in the forest that mimicked you then blew up gunging you...
A cloning machine that cloned stuff then destroyed the original and the copy...
A mad santa epsiode....

I wish i had a boxset...

Only one I can remember is where a goat swallowed an opal(not the car) and the youngest of them kept following the goat around squeezing all its s*ite to see if it was in there >_<

There was one with a cloning machine where they made a copy of their pet rabbit, but for some reason they cloned Linda as well but she was BACKWARDS so she was called Adnil - and they had a race up and down the lighthouse stairs or something so Linda won because she and Adnil were both running up and down and signing the sheets so it looked like they were doing it twice as fast as everyone else?

And I think there was one where the oldest boy, can't remember his name, had shrinking underpants and they got so small he was forced to take them off and he had to hide in a pond or something cos he had no clothes on

That was one strange show alright. Anyone remember the one where they found a green baby in the cabbage patch? I can't remember anything else about that episode though.

Oh yeah, I think that one was because the youngest boy was asking where babies came from and the father told him that they appeared in cabbage patches, and then he FOUND ONE

Heh only one that springs to mind is again the odd seagull episode.
But I do recollect most episodes having the family been chased up the lighthouse spiral staircase.

Did anyone see the one where Pete (older one) told Bronson that Santa wasn't real and Linda wished that he didn't have such a big mouth. I think it was Santa who granted her wish and Pete's mouth shrank really small. He had to wear a bandana to try and hide but he got found out in school and all sorts of hilarity ensued... My memory fades on it at this point.
It's weird the **** you remember. I can remember that but can't remember the Pin for my Credit Card...

Anyone seen the remake that was on either BBC or ITV a few years ago. New cast and not nearly as good/weird. I think the old lady ? and the politician guy were the only characters from the original still in it.

i was on the nightlink with my friends a while back, and one mate turns to me to say something but he stopped halfway
it went something like this

Marc: Have you ever... (*looks at me blankly*)
(long pause)

next thing i know the majority of the top deck of this bus are singing along.
