Live cricket in Leinster week ending 27th May 2007

    This weekend sees the opening rounds of the Leinster Senior Cup, sponsored by Antalis. This is a 60-overs-a-side competition, starting (I think) at 11am.

    Sunday also sees the first round of the Whitney Moore Keller Senior League, which is split into two sections.

    Saturday 26th May

    Leinster Senior Cup sponsored by Antalis

    North County v Railway Union, Inch, Balrothery
    Leinster v Pembroke, Observatory Lane, Rathmines
    Malahide v CYM, The Village, Malahide
    Old Belvedere v Rush, The Cabra Oval, Cabra
    Phoenix v YMCA, Phoenix Park

    The Hills, Clontarf and Merrion all receive byes to the next round.

    Sunday 27th May

    Whitney Moore Keller League

    Section A: Merrion v YMCA, Anglesea Rd, Ballsbridge
    Section A: The Hills v North County, Milverton, Skerries

    Leinster v Pembroke - Leinster won by 107 runs
    Malahide v CYM - play resumed last night, will update with the result when available
    Old Belvedere v Rush - Old Belvedere won by 37 runs
    Phoenix v YMCA - YMCA won by 64 runs

    The draw for the second round is:

    The Hills v Malahide or CYM
    North County v YMCA
    Leinster v Merrion
    Clontarf v Old Belvedere


    Sunday 27th May

    Section A: Merrion v YMCA - Merrion won by 8 wickets
    Section A: The Hills v North County - North County won by 113 runs
