I'm starting to play a bit of poker online, have played for years casually with friends (to a very low standard admittedly) but I want to improve and play to a better standard. Never played in a casino and would like to try it, maybe at the Thursday Freeroll tournament listed in events. Does "free" actually mean free? And is there anything I should know/do so I don't end up looking like a complete twat?

    Thanks.

as far as I know, that freeroll doesn't run anymore. I may be wrong, but I don't think there's any freerolls run in casinos anymore, but there's a few low buyin tournies around.

Play the Jackpot on Thursdays. Its a €20+€3 Freezeout. Cheap night and good craic.

Thanks. Noob question: what's the +€3 mean if it's a Freezeout?

+ £ amount is usually what goes to the house or the casino. In this case 3 quid.
