Has anyone else read this book? I highly recommend it, it's basically a celebration AND lampooning of the male obsession with war as a game. Much of the book is based around a wry view of the authors chosen past time of war gaming but if you grew up playing with airfix soldiers, action men, building model kits, reading commando etc this book will make you both lol and sigh "good times, good times" nostalgically

I'll definitely have a look out for this. I used to have a huge collection of Airfix soldiers and Commando comics when I was a kid.
