Installer and quote needed...

Hi everyone,

I am a current Sky subscriber with a standard Sky box. I'm going to buy a Sky HD box from eBay and here's where I need help.

I need to find an installer in the Midlands who will install the quad lnb that I have already bought and run another cable through to where the current Sky box is, which will be replaced by the Sky HD box.

Then I want to move the old Sky standard box to another room and run two cables through to it so I can watch FTA channels on it or use my FTV card and also have the possibility of upgrading that to a Sky+ or HD box at a later date so having the second cable will facilitate that.

So I need to find an installer in the Midlands who will do this and some idea of the price required. It might be worth mentioning that the dish is located just under the roof at the back of the house beside the room where the current box is. The cable comes directly through the conrete into the corner the box is. Thus the second cable could come through there if ok.

Otherwise we were wired for cable...so if the cables were put into the attic, they could probably be dropped through the old cable conduit to both rooms.

So any installer willing to come to Athlone. I've a quote already of €200 but want to see if anyone can do better. I already have the quad lnb as well.

Ok, even if no one wants to install, can an installer/retailer/anyone suggest what I should have to pay for this or give any advice?

I suspect the reason you have not got any replies is that advertising is banned here and any replies may be construed as an installer touting for business. Check out the supplier sticky perhaps
