Anyone have any good strategy links for 3 betting for low levels. My Basic concept is only 3 bet with hands in position unless ive AA or KK. Ill 3 bet light with anyone with a PFR over 25% but what range should i 3 bet with based on the V$PIP, should i consider how the villain plays after the flop before doing this, i.e is he a calling station etc

So some article or post that covers that kind of thing would be great Cheers.

I wouldn't be looking at the VPIP as much as I would is pf raising percentage, thats the big one and also the stat for % time that someone is stealing.
Naturally if someone is a calling station then I am less likely to do it, but for serial button and co raisers then I am going to be 3 betting very light.

Sorry i did mean PFR% of 25% or more [ill edit OP]. Is that too conservative whats the lowest PFR% youd be raising. You say also about someone button stealing, i presume your in the blinds when your 3 betting, is this a good idea if your going to be OOP.

Oh 25% for PFR is huge, 15 or bigger is pretty high to me.
Yeah I would 3 bet in the blinds a good bit against a serial button raiser, usually being oop is not an problem as I don't intend it to get beyond the flop. I raise with ATC and if he calls and bet the flop and usually give up if they continue. Again if someone is huge calling station or gets tricky then I would do it less.

No problem, go to the stickies in micro stakes, small stakes and high stakes and read all the threads when you have time. There is an absolute wealth of information there.

To make reading easier, sign up, go to your settings in my home. Change to flat mode and put posts per page to 99. You can also change the number of threads you can view per forum page, I use 25 because I don't want threads that are too old and I don't want the computer taking forever to load. You can change the horrible default background as well, I use frosted because I like the colour. But desert (large font) is easier on the eyes.

Also get firefox if you don't have it yet and install grease monkey. I have a script which will get rid of all the ads on 2+2. If there's interest I'll post it here for ye.

you could spend months reading 2+2 and still only get through a fraction of the good stuff on it, between the archives and all the new stuff posted everyday.

    QFT

I'm on 2+2 every day but I don't spend nearly enough time on the strategy forums, have read all the stickies though. I spend most of my time on the investing forum. And of course BBV4Life which has been hugely +EV for me because somebody liked my MSPaint work there and offered to help me out with my cash game play. Went from 46, 23 (used to be a tourney donk) to 22, 17 in less than a month.

Agreed, I went through master section on micro stakes and it was an goldmine and I still haven't finished it and not even started on any other stakes
It is by far the best resource for poker ever devised.
