Lucky bags

Anyone remember the ones from the 80s - they were like 10p each and there was one for girls and one for boys.
I remember there was a pic on the front of a boy and girl holding a lucky bag with a pic of them holding a bag.......into infinity!

Also I remember getting a little book/comic in it one time with pictures of children having adventures but the drawings were like 1930s/40s drawings. For some reason I really liked the comic and would give anything to see it again. Does anybody remember it?

We give them to children at our Dealership.

Very vaguely. There used to be little sweets / gum in them and a miniature toy. The stuff was cr@p, it was the novety idea of it and the element of surprise that made kids want them

Wasn't there a turtle or something on the bag?

The turtle ones were more recent.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I too am looking for those mini comics that came with the 1980s lucky bags.
Does anyone know anything about them? One I remember was the story of a boy and girl going to the land of nod (or an enchanted place). It was only a few pages long but it was fully illustrated. I remember thinking the place was magical. The drawings were definitely not 1980s illustrations, more like wartime , so I suppose 1940s.
