    Hi!
Does anyone know the name of the company who treated 4 people with bad hair loss on the late Late Show last week.
I'm seriously considering geeting it done.
They did a fantastic job i'm sure you agree, if you saw it.
    Many Thanks.

The name of the company is Evolve. What an amazing feature that was, the three candidates looked awesome after the replacement!

I have being doing a bit of research into having a hair transplant. I have had a consultation with Maurice Collins in Blackrock Clinic & Dr. Conor Kiely in Cork. I have also looked into the possibility of going to the States to have the procedure done there. It is an expensive and invasive procedure, but from the before & after pictures and testimonials etc. it looks pretty impressive.

I saw the "evolve" feature on the late late and I think I will be checking out these guys aswell to see what they have to offer.

    Hi,

The lady on the show mentioned two products that she was using.

Does anyone know what these products were?

    Thanks in advance.

This is a two year old thread so will be impossible for people to help unless they have a link or something. Having not seen it myself I'm assuming she used Toppik? No idea though

the surgeon who was on mentioned two products which he recommended people in their 20's to use rather than go for surgery, does anyone have the names of these products and any experiences in using them.

You can re-watch the show on RTE website, the hair talk is around 1/2 hour in so you should be able to get your info there.

Propecia (tablet) and Minoxinil (which you apply topically) are the only two products which are proven to help with hair loss. You can get the generic form of Propecia on prescription- it's called Proscar and it will be cheaper. You should start off using Propecia/Proscar on its own for twelve months first, then add in Minoxinil. The product name of Minoxinil is Regaine, and should be available in any good pharmacist (Boots etc), without prescription (I think).

The above are not proven to work in every case, and even if it does work, the results will probably diminish over time.

    *snip*

If you are thinking of opting for a hair transplant, do A LOT of research- hairlosstalk, hairsite, hairlosshelp for example on the internet are good resources.

Johnny Utah I have snipped part of your post because you did not provide reasons for your claim.

As for this 2 year old, I am locking it. Any information on hair replacement should be sought from a trained professional.
