He min raises in EP and has a high V$PIP albeit over a small sample so we can assume hes not a good player.

Its tricky, he check calls on the flop which makes me think he has a drawing hand which he possibly hit on the turn like AT or T9. Because of the type of player he is its hard to judge but id expect any made hand that was good enough to push on the turn with would surely have been good enough to to check raise with.

I also find alot of times when someone pushes all in like this its often to wrongly protect a good but not great hand like AK or AA here from the straight, i see this quick push alot with Top Pair on a flush board for example, they push because they are scared someone has the flush which is bad but i see it alot at this level as there only getting called with a flush, overpair or set.

If this player is pushing here with 1 pair which is all you really beat now and giving his V$PIP then youll get better spots against him when you have more info, if hes pushing with something better than 1 pair your only beating AA and Q6 and J6 and the FD. I think its better to wait until youve seen more hands against him as youve only $4.50 invested, that Turn card didnt help at all and if it was any other card id probably call happy enough but i can find a fold here but i think its tight.

I see hes already won $8 in the few hands hes been involved in, did you see the hand and how he played it.

btw theres a nice converter here:

Thanks Dvd, i folded due to lack of knowlege and it turned out he was a bit of a donk making that play quite regurally.

The table was fairly weak in general, afaik he just won a few pots with top pair, standard play.

A turn check raise is never ever never never a bluff. Maybe he thinks a-k is good here but I fold this more often than not.

    Insta-fold.

A check/call on the flop followed by a CRAI on the turn, at these stakes, usually means he has at least a set.

I think its a standard enough fold given the information... when I played this level I found that many players once the hit better then 2pair often overbet the pot grossly and you find that they often get paid off by the strangest of hands, Top pair weak kicker etc.

I fold here for two reasons,
    1) I think its -EV to call here
    and
    2) Even if you are wrong this guy is obviously a horrid player and you will get a better chance to take all his money.
