Hi, I have had a problem with my NTL digital for a while now(some of the channels go black at random and some are very jumpy) I was wondering if anyone can answer a few questions for me with regards to sky.

I read in another thread that channel 4 blocks some shows and only shows channel4 prodcution ones. I rang sky and they said this is not the case and that channel 4 is shown in full. Is it blocked sometimes?

Another question is regarding the channel line up - do they they have Setanta Ireland with out having to subscribe to the setanta package and is Film 4 free without subscribing to the movies package?

If anyone can answer these Id be grateful.

The majority of Channel 4 programmes shown. Some like everybody Loves Raymond and The Sopranos are blocked.

Thanks for the replys - thats a dilemma alright with no Setanta Ireland. Does anyone know if it is one of skys mixes or do you have to pay €18 a month?

Setanta Ireland is not available alone in a Sky mix. Its only part of the Setanta Sports pack.

Thanks - It seems Sky will cost me alot more than NTL. But the NTL customer service(if there is such a thing - so far Ive only been able to talk to tech support) is a joke.
