    http://imdb.com/title/tt0443706/

So what do people think? Must say I really enjoyed it.

    I'm a big fan of Fincher, but although I wasn't expecting a 'Seven 2', I was expecting a lot.

There's some real moments of terror and suspense (one that immediately springs to mind is Gyllenhaal's character in the house of a suspect he believes may be the Zodiac).

With a 158mins runtime however, some may find it drags in places.

There's also some really great performances throughout the film - Mark Ruffalo really impressed me in this. Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr. were also fantastic.

I'd highly recommend it though, 9/10.

Very strange film. The plot meandered down many dead ends, and introduced many characters only for them to take a back seat without any resolution of their story-arcs. It also veered between horror, drama and verged close to comedy at times.

None of that was to the film's detriment though. I'd give it two thumbs up! Jake Gyllenhal was surprisingly good in it.

Wrote a review over in Film Reviews (see the link there?) but overall thought it was a very enjoyable film, but was let down a little by over familiarity, and a lack of invention which is a little disapointing from Fincher. Still many times better than your average thriller.

I thought it was very good, maybe just a bit on the long side but id still recommend people to go and watch it.

A superb thiller, and one of the best of it's kind ever. I thought this was an amazing film. Scenes of violence were so stark and shocking that they made me sit still in the chair waiting for them to end. Very affecting and while it may continue on a little bit too much it's definitely one of the best of the year.

Great to see Fincher still on form
