Can you use WMP to view the streams on rte.ie?

Nope - but I do remeber that by opening the stream in a new window, I eventually got to watch the six nations.

However I did have problems a week ago when I wanted to see something on the news...

Haven't been able to stream anything on RealPlayer since Christmas when they kicked me off proxy1. OK, so I use a Mac, so things are a little different than you guys, but it did work fine until then - both streaming live TV and recorded programs.

I brought it into the Helpdesk during one of the breaks (think it was the week after New Year), was promptly told that they don't offer any support than what was on their website. I pointed out that there was actually no one in the queue and he wasn't busy and eventually he agreed to have a look. I had all the settings right, he claimed to have been the one who tested them himself! and we still couldn't get it to work. Have tried myself a few times since with no luck, although did manage to stream T:fm through WMP for mac (which is no longer supported anywhere!!).

    Feckin stinks.
