Few questions on rakeback and other bonus related stuff.

    1. What is rakeback? I presume you get a % of the rake from hands you win yea?

    2. I have a PPP account, but if i sign up to another poker room that uses Ipoker network am i entitled to rakeback? If so what other sites are attached to Ipoker network?

    3. Free sign up bonus' - if sign up for a $100 sign up bonus can i withdrew the majority of my $100 and still be entitled to the bonus or does the money have to be in the account for a period of time?

    4. Whats the rake on the different levels? Is it a standard %? currently playing 0.01/0.02, would it make more sense for me to move up too 0.02/0.04? Only logged 10k hands and am running at 12 BB/100, that good or should i stick at my current level for another 10k hands or even more?

    thank you.

Typically rakeback works that you get a percentage of the rake you pay the site back every month. Typical rakeback is in the region of 25 to 35%.

Other sites on the ipoker network are Greenjokerpoker, Victor Chandler, Blue Square, CDPoker, Noble Poker, Titan Poker.

Rakeback is available on some of these. As it is elsewhere. I can't mention any particular sites here where you get rakeback as it's against the rules. Typically you will find rakeback offers on people's signatures.(I don't know if I have my settings configured right but I can only see signatures if I'm browsing boards as a guest)

If you sign up for a bonus - you will typically need to play a minimum number of hands and you will almost definitely end up needing to pay rake in excess of that bonus amount before you can claim it, playing $.01/$.02 game that might take a while ;)

12 BB/100 I presume u mean and not 12BB/Hand ;) . anyway that's good going. 10k hands isn't a huge amount of hands but chanceas are you're a winning player at that level nonetheless.

I've never played micro stakes except for testing out software or poker tracker. Anyway whether you want to move up levels depends on your goals I suppose. If you want to do it by the book then have your 25 to 30 buy-ins or so for the next level. If you're not too bothered about losing your bankroll I would think if you can beat .01/.02 you can beat a few levels above too, I don't think you will find any major jump in standard for a good few levels tbh.

You can contact Shortstack on here and he can explain how the GJP loyalty scheme works. It's pretty straight forward.

If you're looking for rb on different sites you can put a request in your sig asking for people to contact you about a particular site.

Bonuses depend on the card room in question, and I think recently have gotten alot harder to clear. They are awarded on the number of hands you play where you have payed rake, or on the total amount of rake you pay over a period of time.

RB only really becomes important and worthwhile if you play alot of hands at levels of 25c/50cNL and higher. Playing 1c/2c you will be paying very little rake, say 10c every 100 hands (?). If you play 10000 hands which might be a weeks worth of 4 tabling, you'll have paid $10 rake. You might get 25% of this back for a weekly rakeback of $2.50

    Also, leave it out Marq.

I think Marqs advice is valid, chucky is obviously well capable of beating that game and there's no real difference between that and say .10/.20 so he should move up to at least .05/.10 and probably .10/.20 if he is adequately bankrolled and play another 10-20K hands there and see how he's getting on.

Yea, i was only looking at rakback for the future when i do move up through th levels but i want to sign up for a new site soon so i know i cant sign up then ask for rakeback when i reach the levels it would be worth while to have.

    Cheers for the replies everyone.

How easy is it to clear a bonus if you're playing STT's and MTT's? Also, will 6max clear the bonus quicker than 10 handed?
